About First Aid

First Aid And CPR training is mandatory for employees in the workplace; but unlike most other types of safety training, these skills and knowledge can also used in an individual’s daily life. This is why we teach people First Aid and CPR in easy-to-follow steps, empowering them to act on, prevent, and manage a life emergency.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID TRAINING

2 Days Course ( 9.00am - 5.00pm ) 

CPR+AED Module is included in this Course.

Our emergency first aid training is suitable for people who work in hazardous environments and seek how they can give the first aid in case of a medical emergency.

TARGET GROUP

 

This is a competency course for members selected to be part of the ERT. It will also be beneficial for ordinary members at any work site.

COURSE AIM

​

​To provide Participants with knowledge and skills of a first aider, enabling them to stay up to date with the advanced knowledge and skills to carry out emergency.

​

To provide the Participants with the knowledge, practical skills and understanding required to provide and co-ordinate first aid in the workplaces.

​

COURSE OBJECTIVES

 

Participants who successfully complete this course will be able to:

​​

  • Perform adult CPR and use the AED.

  • Be capable of performing CPR and using an AED.

  • Understand the importance of Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to increase survival rate.

  • Learn foreign body airway obstruction (i.e. choking) management for a conscious or unconscious adult

  • Identify the underlying causes of different types of injuries.

  • Administer basic immediate first aid without any medical help.

  • Understand the responsibilities of the first aider.

  • Become a Qualified First Aider & comply with legal provision: Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994. 

  • Gain enhanced knowledge on the fundamental concepts of safety and prevention of accidents including management of emergencies

  • and the provision of first aid. 

  • Recognize types of hazards existing at workplace and initiating suitable 

  • emergency treatment of injuries. 

  • Provide treatment for the purpose of preserving life or minimizing the consequences of injury until discharge or the arrival of medical assistance.

  • Render First Aid Management for various injuries such as bleeding, burn, shock, fracture, and spinal injuries. ​​​​

TRAINING METHODOLOGY

​

  • In-House/Public Training Theory & Practical Class.

  • Lecture with audio and video visuals aids, role-play & case study, practical session on workplace assessment and theory & practical test, and to be conducted in English and Bahasa.

​

THEORY SESSION

​

  • Presentation & Real Events Experience on site with our Instructor.

  • Engaging audio-visual aids; real scene photographs, video clips, multimedia presentation.

​

PRACTICAL SESSION

​

  • Hands-on experience.

  • Real life Scenario.

​

PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT

 

Participants will need to demonstrate that they are Competent in the skills of performing Improvised Tourniquet, Relief of Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (FBAO) in a Conscious and Unconscious adult, 2 bandaging techniques, and perform CPR and the usage of an AED safety. If a participant fails the practical assessment, the participant will be given up to 2 more attempts at the practical assessment.

LIFE MOCK DRILL

​

We have experienced trainers to deliver mock drill training by creating worst case scenarios with specific to industry and they would infuse it at the operational level to understand the realistic issues of dealing with emergency scenarios. Moreover, they will get a sense of competence and get aware of pre-emptive measures to handle any kind of emergency situations. We also provide recommended measures as per the loopholes highlighted in mock drill.

CERTIFICATE

​

Certificate & First Aider Card will be given at the end of the training once the trainees pass the skills set and assessments.

The certificate & First Aider Card is valid for 2 years.
